There have been many speculations in Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship that have captured the public interest. When they were dating, they waited for a ring to show up on Markle’s finger. When they were engaged, the wedding watch began. And, now, fans of the beloved royal couple are convinced a baby might be on the way — and they’re pointing to Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, as proof.

Rumors began circulating that Markle was pregnant after she was spotted in a loose-fitting dress recently. Fans are arguing it could be the perfect camouflage for a baby bump.

So, when Doria Ragland was reportedly noticed taking nanny classes at the Cradle Company, near her house in Los Angeles, speculation about a royal baby really took off.

According to the British tabloids, Ragland could be preparing to make the move to the U.K. to care for her impending grandchild.

“Meghan wants to avoid hiring staff if possible once her first child arrives. The thought of having her mum move in with them and take on the role of baby nurse is the best possible solution to that,” according to an unnamed source at the UK’s Daily Star .

Doria Ragland reportedly couldn’t be more excited to step in and help. Not only is it something she has “always wanted to do anyway,” per the Daily Star, Doria is well-equipped to care of Markle and Harry’s future child and the new mother, too.

“She already specializes in prenatal yoga. She’s learned everything from breastfeeding and lactation consultancy, basic baby care, CPR and first aid,” said the source. “The course also covers sleep training for later on, weaning and helping the new mother with her recovery.”

Although no official date for Ragland’s speculated permanent move has been revealed. On Friday, royal commentator Omid Scobie revealed on Twitter that “Duchess Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland visited Prince Harry and her daughter for an extended stay at their Oxfordshire home this summer.”

Fans on both sides of the Atlantic are now watching to see if any truth lies in the typically unpredictable British Tabloids.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Al-Sahawat Times than ever but advertising revenues across the global media industry are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a total paywall. We want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. But we do it because we believe truly ethical media and an unbias perspective really matters.

“I appreciate there not being a paywall: it is more democratic for the media to be available for all and not a commodity to be purchased by a few. I’m happy to make a contribution so others with less means still have access to information.”

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, the future of ethical media and the futures of our staff and their families would be much more secure. For as little as £1, you can support Al-Sahawat Times and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
