 Wildfires cause chaos across the Mediterranean

Scorching heat and dry summer conditions have resulted in large scale wildfires across the the Mediterranean.

Fires broke out across Croatia, the Croatian Islands, Northern Italy, the Italian island of Sardinia and the South of France.

Armies of firefighters, helicopters  and water bomber aeroplanes were deployed across Croatia, Italy, France and the Mediterranean Islands.

Thousands of residence have been evacuated to safety as the fires close in on homes.
